Freezer Meatloaf and Meatball Mix

If you know the next few weeks or months are going to be extra busy, this is very nice to have on hand. This recipe makes one meatloaf, but multiply in as large of an amount as you want. I use several pounds of each, turkey, beef and pork, for nice flavor.

1 cup milk

3 slices soft bread

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 teaspoon sage

1/4 teaspoon celery salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1 egg

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Pour milk into large mixing bowl. Tear up bread into small pieces and soak in milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Form into loaf and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Multiply ingredients and make several unbaked loaves for the freezer. Can be thawed and baked as meatloaf, or made into meatballs. For meatballs, shape into 1-inch balls. Place in ungreased shallow baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until meatballs are browned.
