Aunt Irene's Sour Milk Chocolate Cake

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/2 cup cocoa

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup sour milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together sugar, vanilla, and butter or margarine.  Add cocoa, salt, flour, baking soda and sour milk.  Mix well.  Bake in greased Bundt pan for 35 to 45 minutes.  Top with a chocolate frosting and scoop of ice cream if desired.
