Busy Day Dinner

1 pound lean ground beef, browned and drained

1 package (7 ounces) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

1 cup celery, finely chopped

1 cup green pepper, chopped

1 cup onion, finely chopped

2 cups carrots, thinly sliced

1 (28 ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to boil over medium heat.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until heated through.  Add water to thin if desired.  Makes 6 servings.
