Beef Stew

I have started using stir fry meat for all stews and dishes that call for stew meat. It's so much more tender than regular stew meat.

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of celery soup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup sherry

1 package dry onion soup mix

6 potatoes in large chunks

1 onion, cut in wedges

2 carrots, sliced

2 pounds stew or stir fry meat

In crock pot mix soups, Worcestershire sauce, sherry and dry soup mix. Add vegetables and meat and mix well. Cook on low for 3 hours and then on high for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Makes about 8 servings.
