Freezer Pickles

1 cup vinegar or cider vinegar, or combination

7 cucumbers, sliced 

1 cup onions, chopped

1 cup red or green peppers, chopped

2 1/4 cups sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons celery seed

Stir vinegar, sugar and salt together and pour over vegetables.  Refrigerate for 24 hours.  Stir occasionally.  Pack in freezer containers and freeze.  Cut sugar to 1 cup if less sweetness is desired.
