A more modern recipe for my heirloom collection, this was submitted to our Family Cookbook by my step-mother.
1/2 c. flour
1 (1 1/4 oz) env. taco seasoning mix
3 lb., or about 16 chicken wings
6 T. butter or margarine
1 c. crushed corn chips
Remove tips from wings and cut at the joints. Combine flour and taco seasoning mix in plastic bag. Add 2 or 3 wings at a time and shake to coat. Melt butter or oleo in 10X15 inch baking pan. Place coated wings in pan and turn once to butter surfaces. Then roll in crushed corn chips and return to baking pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
