This recipe I found in my mother-in-laws collection and it is noted that it's from her sister-in-law Evvy.
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups pumpkin (small can)
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder
2/3 c. water, 1 c ch nuts
Mix sugar, eggs, & oil, add 1 tsp cinnamon, pumpkin then dry ingred. alternately with water & last add nuts. Recipe makes 2 loaves in bread pan. Line your pans with foil, grease foil. Put topping of bread crumbs, white sugar, & cinnamon on each loaf. Fill pan 2/3 full. Bake 1 1/2 hr at 350.
