Aunt Arlene's Peanut Brittle

This was one of the first recipes my aunt contributed to the family cookbook.

1 c. sugar

1/4 c. water

1 1/2 c. peanuts, dipping variety

1 c. dark corn syrup

1/8 tsp. salt

1 tsp. hot water

Use heavey saucepan. Let harden and crack in pieces.
