Grandma Z's Sherried Beef

This was one of the earlier recipes my grandma added to the family cookbook. She made it often. My grandpa was a "meat and potatoes" kind of person and most meals by grandma were just delicious home cooking.

2 lb. beef stew meat, or cut up your own

1 can mushroom soup

1 pkg. onion soup mix

1/2 c. red wine

Bake 3 hours at 300°. Very good.
