This delicious recipe is also a part of my regular Becky's Cookbook collection and I make it often, well, when I've got cucumbers from the garden. She gave me the recipe years ago.
5 cucumbers, peelded & thinly sliced
1 bunch green onions, with tops chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
2 drops hot pepper sauce
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. parsley flakes
1 t. salt
1/4 t. onion salt
1/4 t. garlic salt or powder
Combine cucumbers and green onions in large bowl. Cover & let stand for 1 hr. Combine all the remaining ingredients & pour over cucumber mixture. Mix well. refrigerate for several hours.
