Well, if you're family is anything like my family, summer is anything but "lazy days". Oh, I start out with wonderful intentions of a relaxing summer. Each year I plan on being so organized that I'll have "days" to just "putz" around in the garden, the house will be a breeze to keep clean and when the kids where younger, I had big plans of days in the park. My biggest decision would be what to grill out for supper. Well, this has yet to happen!!!
With the 2 vacations we take every summer, it feels like I'm either packing or catching up. Days spent "lounging"? hahahaha. Dirt is constantly being tracked in , supper is quickly thawed out, if I'm lucky I can have time to marinade it a bit, and I barely keep up with the prolific growth of weeds.... don't forget the "days" blanching" and freezing. Before I can say "Lazy Summer Days", it's August and "poof", it's gone!!! Well, here's to our dreams, but would we have it any other way???
Have a nice summer!!! ;~)
