Smoked Fish Roll-Lorraine

1 pound boneless flaked, smoked salmon or 1 pound canned salmon, which you need to drain, remove bones and flake

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons grated onion

8 ounces softened cream cheese

1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke, only for canned salmon

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon horseradish

Combine all ingredients except nuts. Form into a roll, and then roll in nuts. Refrigerate rolls; serve with crackers.
