Raspberry Bars-Peggy

Mix well:

1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter

1 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add 1 beaten egg and 1 tablespoon milk; mix. Spread in a 9x11 inch pan and spread thin layer of raspberry jam. Beat 1 egg. Add 3/4 cup sugar. Melt butter the size of an egg. Add to sugar and egg. add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 cups coconut. Put over raspberry jam. Bake for 35 minutes.
