Microwave Caramels-Brenda

2 cups light brown sugar

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

3/4 cup light or dark corn syrup

1 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine first 5 ingredients in a 2 1/2 quart bowl. Cover and microwave at 50% power for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir well so all butter is mixed into sugar. Cook uncovered 10 minutes at high. Use the cold water test for firm ball. Add vanilla. Pour into well greased 7X11 inch glass pan. Cut in squares and wrap in wax paper.
