Persimmon Cookies-Becky

1 cup margarine

2 cups sugar

3 1/2 cups flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon cloves

2 eggs

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups nuts

1 cup raisins

1 cup coconut

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup mashed persimmons

Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs, slightly beaten, lemon juice and persimmon. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and cloves. Beat this into the first mixture and add nuts, coconut and raisins. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
