Turkey Chili-Peggy

Nonstick spray coating

1 pound lean ground raw turkey

1 cup chopped celery

1 (16oz) can red kidney beans, drained

1 (8oz) can tomato sauce

1 (6oz) can vegetable juice cocktail

1 bay leaf

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

2 tablespoons dried minced onion

1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed

1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Spray a cold large skillet with nonstick spray. Add turkey and celery. Cook until turkey is no longer pink, stirring to break up pieces. Stir in remaining ingredients. Add 1/2 cup water. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf. Makes 4 servings.
Microwave Directions: In a 3 quart microwave safe casserole, cook turkey and celery, uncovered, on 100% POWER, 5 to 7 minutes, or until no pink remains, stirring to break up pieces. Stir in remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water. Cook, covered, on HIGH for 7 to 9 minutes, or until desired consistency. Continue as above.
